Girls soccer improves record with tie

For the first time in the program’s history, the girls varsity soccer team improved its record to a win and tie after the team tied 1-1 against Schaeffer on Saturday, Oct. 9.

Coach Carey Langer praised the girls for their teamwork and performance on the field.

“The team played its best game of the season against Schaeffer as they had more shots on goal in this one game than all other games combined this season,” he said. “Additionally, we controlled the possession of the game and held Schaeffer to only a few shots that were really a threat. It was a very complete game by the whole team.”
