Missing New Prague woman located in Idaho

Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason reported that law enforcement has located and spoken with Pamela Jewison, who was reported missing on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, by her family.

Sheriff Mason advised that this afternoon, at approx. 2:20 p.m., State Troopers in Idaho located Jewison traveling in her vehicle, traveling east on Interstate 90.

Mason advised that troopers stopped Jewison’s vehicle and checked her welfare. Jewison indicated that she had been visiting a friend in the Seattle, Washington area. Ultimately troopers allowed Jewison to continue her travels, noting she was heading back to Minnesota.

Jewison's family had been looking for help locating her after she left home and never returned.

Jeffrey Jewison of rural New Prague contacted Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason’s office on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at approx. 5:23 p.m., to report his wife, Pamela, 50, was missing.

Jeffrey told the sheriff’s office his wife had not reported to work and her whereabouts were unknown. After the family and deputies were unable to contact Pamela, she was signed/entered as a Missing Person.

According to Mason, deputies reviewed the Jewison Home Security System and observed Pamela leaving the residence on Friday morning, driving her 2015, silver colored GMC Yukon Denali with the license plate HJH 240.

Mason said the Jewison family has made contact with all family and friends, and none of them have seen or spoken with her since last week.

On Monday, November 15, 2021, the Sheriff’s Office deputies were contacted by the Post Falls, Idaho Police Department, who reported the city’s Automated License Plate Reader System on Interstate 90 had collected the license plate number from Pamela’s vehicle. They noted it was traveling west.

In a social media post, her daughter said Jewison left without her cell phone.

Mason indicated since law enforcement has located Jewison and checked her welfare, she is no longer considered a missing person. This investigation has been concluded.
