NPHS celebrates Homecoming next week

New Prague High School will be celebrating its Homecoming the week of Sunday, Sept. 25 through Friday, Sept. 30. The activities start with the annual Powder Puff Football Game on Sunday, at 4 p.m. at Trojan Stadium across from the high school.

There will be dress up days with this Friday, Sept. 23, being Powder Puff Friday where students will wear their Class Colors. Seniors are black/pink, juniors are blue, Sophomores are green, freshmen are red and staff wear white.

Dress up days continue on Monday, Sept. 26, with Pajama Day, followed by Tuesday - Decade Day, Wednesday, Adam Sandler Day, Thursday - Anything But a Backpack Day where items must be cartable by one person, must not damage school property, and students cannot use the elevator for their non-backpack. The week caps off with Trojan Pride on Friday. That day will also include the Pepfest starting at 11:10 a.m and will be held in the high school gym. After that at 1 p.m. will be the Trojan Parade following its regular route going south on Columbus Avenue to Main Street, where the parade will turn west onto Main Street and ends at Strike Force Bowl.

At 7 p.m. the New Prague Trojans will take to the football field at Trojan Stadium to take on Rochester Mayo.

The Homecoming Dance will then be at the high school gym from 9-11:45 p.m.
