NPHS grad to perform with West Point Glee Club at St. Wenceslaus

In honor of Veterans Day, West Point Glee Club of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, is traveling to Minnesota for two public concerts, with one in New Prague. Plus, Maggie O’Neill, daughter of Sean and Jamee O’Neill of New Prague and a 2018 graduate of New Prague High School, is a member of the West Point Glee Club.
On Thursday, Nov. 11, from 5 – 6 p.m. the club will be in the TCF Rotunda at the Mall of America. Their second concert will be on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 1:30 – 3 p.m. at St. Wenceslaus Church, 215 Main St. E, New Prague. It is free admission for the concert and open to the public.
“We’re excited,”said Sean O’Neill, of having Maggie and the West Point Glee Club performing in New Prague. He was told that this is the club’s first trip to Minnesota. “We’re looking forward to it.”
He appreciates that the community and American Legion are stepping up to support the visit, including that host families are providing members of the club places to stay.
West Point Glee Club is one of the U.S. Military Academy’s most visible cadet organizations.
