Main Street was to be CLOSED and DETOURED this coming Monday, HOWEVER the closure and detour has been POSTPONED to at least Monday, June 15th, at which time the project detour will go into effect (see attached and map on project website).
A late-minute decision was made by the project team to postpone the road closure and detour as utility and road work around the RR tracks was not ready to start. The project includes permitted utility work and oversight by the Union Pacific Railroad during work around the RR tracks, which was hindered by recent COVID related furloughs
and staff changes at Union Pacific Railroad.
