Dorthea “Shirley” Lambrecht

Dorthea “Shirley” Lambrecht passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024, while surrounded by her children. Shirley was born on May 15, 1935, in Shakopee, MN, to Herman & Helen Ramaker. She married Tony Lambrecht in September of 1954 and together they raised 6 children. They owned & operated a bar in St. Benedict, before moving to New Prague and running Tony’s Bar. A short time later came Heidelberg Liquors.  Tony went into the rehab business called Choices.

Shirley enjoyed being a waitress at the Torchlight Supper Club. Shirley was loved by many and she always brought out the best in everyone she met. In 1993, they retired and moved to Apache Junction, AZ. Shirley started crafting and soon she was attending 2-3 craft shows a week. Shirley moved to Springfield, MO, in June of 2023, and enjoyed the easy living lifestyle at an adult living facility.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Laurie Reef, Tuddy Menden, Dolly Theis, and LaVearl Smith. She is survived by brother, Jim Ramaker, sisters Glad Busch, and Dar Kerber.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 10 from 4-6 p.m. at The Depot in New Prague at 408 Main Street West. Sandwiches, snacks, and beverages will be served.
