Charles M. Novak of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2018. He was 68. Charlie was preceded in death by this parents Edward and Elsie Novak, his sister Jean (Toczek), and his brother Edward. He is survived by his sister Frances, step-sister Janice Madden, sons Philip(Catherine Wernecke), Lucas(Sarah), and Matthew, and granddaughter Lauren.
On Friday, November 30, 2018, Lois Hendricks, 87, passed away surrounded by many family members.
The third of four daughters of a pastor, Lois moved several times – spending her high school years in St. Paul, Chicago and Seattle. She spent a year at St. Olaf College, Northfield, and another at Fairview Nurses Training, St. Paul, before her marriage, on Oct. 27, 1951, to Ralph Hendricks. Lois worked various jobs to support the businesses started by Ralph, most notably at Hy-Point Hatchery, and then as co-founder of Cedar Lake Farm.
Patricia Ann Rynda, age 86, of Montgomery, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Mala Strana Care Center, New Prague.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Montgomery on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Montgomery.
Visitation will be held at the church for two hours prior to the service on Saturday.

Julia J. Schoenbauer Krautkremer, age 95, of New Prague, died peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center. Julie was born on December 12, 1922 in Mahnomen, MN to James J. and Mary (Stolka) Jirik. She attended Mahnomen Country School and married Alfred S. Schoenbauer on November 21, 1944 in Mahnomen. The couple lived in St. Paul for the first years of their marriage and moved to New Prague in 1963. After Alfred’s death in 1974, Julia married Omer A. Krautkremer on April 14, 1978 at St.
Leonard A. Shimota, Age 91 of Hugo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 18th.
Len was an accomplished artist and musician. After serving our country in the Korean War, he came back to work as a designer at Dayton’s for almost 40 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna and his brother, Wilbert. Len is survived by his wife, Rita; children Lindsay (Don) Sovil, Jenny (Brad Bohlmann), Jon, Patrick; and granddaughter, Casey Sovil.

Michael “Mick” Milinkovich, passed away at the age of 76 on October 26, 2018at Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth, MN.
Mick graduated from New Prague High School in 1960. While in school Mick participated in drama and was a multi-sport athlete. Mick enjoyed a good lifetime of sharing laughter, and stories with his high school friends. These friends regularly visited Mick during his days at the nursing life.
A special thanks to the staff at Mission Nursing home, who cared for Mick with compassion for over 12 years until the end of his life.
